A wiki is a website that allows easy creation and editing of content by a community of users.  Wikis are often used as collaborative work spaces within communities, organizations and corporations.  Wikis often contain valuable information such as conference content, archived student and professional work, tutorials, book reviews and more.  Because of the open/editable nature of wikis, caution should be used when citing wikis in research projects.  Information discovered in wikis should be corroborated through other sources.
