Library spaces are intended for use by UC Merced students, faculty and staff.  Collaborative Work Rooms are available for up to two hours a day and may be booked online. Meeting rooms and lantern spaces (KL 155 and 355) require room reservations.

In recognition of the limited study space on campus and the importance of library spaces for studying and collaboration, large events are not scheduled in the Library during weekday daytime hours, final exam preparation, or final exams.

Please note that effective June 1, 2008, multi-purpose rooms KL 209 and KL 217 are no longer administered by the Library. The rooms are now designated as classroom spaces and are administered by the Office of the Registrar.
